Democratic Presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders (D-VT), a self-avowed socialist, or
democratic socialist, is at it again, pushing policies that will get him press but that, if passed, would hurt every man, woman, and child in this country—especially Millennials.

Senator Sanders has signed onto a bill called the “Keep it in the Ground Act,” along with Senators Barbara Boxer, Elizabeth Warren, and Patrick Leahy to name a few. This bill would prohibit all new fossil fuel development on federal lands, cancel leases on federal land not currently in development, and end offshore drilling in the Atlantic and Arctic, as well as prohibit future leases in the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific.

Senator Sanders’s reasoning for this ridiculously named bill, which truly does sound like it was named to appeal to adolescent boys, is really quite simple: he wants to save the planet for future generations.

Great, Bernie, we support you 100%—not.
